United Way Campaign
Dear Grove Families,
Wednesday October 5th-12th, Grove School will be hosting a United Way Campaign. We are trying to do our part to donate to the less fortunate families in our own community. We will be asking for donations to raise money for this very worthy cause.
The students will be given the opportunity to do some fun activities in return for donating toward the United Way of McLean County. We will ask each student to make a donation of their choice each day….or one amount for the entire week to participate in the extra privileges listed below. If you are unable to donate, students will still be able to participate in the activities. Our intention is to have fun and emphasize the importance of helping others.
Below is a list of activities students will be given the opportunity to participate in. Please keep this list handy so you know what the activity is for each day.
Wednesday 10/5/11: Free seating in the lunchroom
Thursday 10/6/11: Wear clashing/miss-matched clothes to school
Friday 10/7/11: Extra recess day
Monday 10/10/11: No School
Tuesday 10/11/11: stuffed animal day
Wednesday 10/12/11: Wear a hat in school
